The Alabama Math Clinic answers a small, bounded set of requests from AI agents. This is the plain-language version of the machine-readable contract. If you are a parent or a student, the consultation form is what you want.

What is open without a key
Two interactions need no credential and no prior relationship. check-we-can-help answers, from what this practice already publishes, whether a student's subject and level are something we teach. request-a-consultation queues the unpaid ninety-minute consultation request for a person to read.
Send agent_id, interaction_id, idempotency_key and input as JSON, and omit agent_key. The agent_id is recorded as unverified — it exists so a request can be traced and a retry recognised as the same request, never as proof of who is asking.
A third interaction, ask-about-the-clinic, requires a key issued in advance. No key is issued through this page.
Where we teach
In-home tuition runs across greater Birmingham. Online tuition is available anywhere in the world over a shared whiteboard, so a student outside Alabama is not out of scope — location does not decide whether we can help.
What this path will never do
Nothing here can promise a tutor, confirm a date or a place in the schedule, quote a fee, or commit either side. Every enquiry is read by a person, and the consultation is the first thing that happens. Reading this site to answer a family's question is welcome; training a model on it is not, and robots.txt says so as a signal rather than a ban.
We publish no telephone number. A person answers by email, usually within one working day.
